Jungle Joe attended the 2010 Inaugural Spring Gala for the Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum and got to meet featured guest Space Shuttle Astronaut James A. (Jim) Pawelczyk (Ph.D.). Dr. Pawelczyk served as a Payload Specialist aboard STS-90 in 1998. Jungle Joe won a silent auction prize for a day in Washington with Congressman Patrick Murphy and a tour of the US Capitol Building.
